I was in the drive through line at Jack-in-the-Box thinking to myself, I really shouldn't be eating this food. I ended up ordering a iced tea beverage and heading to the nearest Subway. Now in line I did not want to be rude so I felt l had to order a drink at least.
At Subway I buy a turkey sandwich on Italian herbs and cheese bread with the usual veggies. This is usually my favorite and regular order. My energy was not at its highest today even after I ate my lunch.
After lunch I stopped by my work office to pick up supplies and a check. When I opened up the check, there was more money then I expected to receive. I checked the hours and they matched the dollar amount. After that moment my energy soared. I felt extremely happy and looked forward to the school I was working at in Chino Hills.
I think knowing that I worked hard and was paid more than what I expected definitely helped my energy level and kept it high at work also. I teach chess to little children and sometimes the kids can get a little out off hand. Today my kids were awesome which kept my level even higher.
Does receiving more money on your paycheck than you expected increase your energy level?

It totally does! I worked at a dance studio for almost three years. When I picked up my paycheck one night, I was shocked - the owner had forgotten to tell me that she had given me a ten dollar an hour raise! When I saw how much the check was for, I was thrilled. The ease I felt about paying my rent and bills was enough to cause my energy to surge for a few days. I would definitely say that whenever I am not stressing about making all of my payments on time, my energy levels increase. The added benefit of being able to go out and do something you want to do is also a great energy booster in this instance.
