Drink Some Green Tea

One key energy booster that a lot of people these days depend on is CAFFEINE. Most people especially students turn to coffee because Starbucks is conveniently everywhere. Now when you wake up in the morning and start to head for the coffee machine or the nearest coffee house, stop and think Green Tea. According to WebMD, "People who drink two cups or more a day, have less heart disease and stroke, lower total and LDL (often called "bad") cholesterol, and that they recover from heart attacks faster." Not only is green and also black tea beneficial to your health but these steps help your body get the energy necessary for the day. Green tea also has antioxidants that helps our bodies in defense from oxidation. In everyday terms, green tea helps to prevent disease causing chains. Since green tea has become so popular our convenient coffee house now has a whole menu for TEA. So if you need a little boost in the morning, mid-day, or even at night, make a trip to Starbucks. Buy the green tea of course and not the coffee. Doctors suggest people should drink multiple cups of green tea a day but if you just start adding a cup a day now I'm sure you will start to feel more energized. For another positive on green tea, there are zero calories!!!

Green Tea Good or Bad. . . I think Good...

will more people drink green tea?. . . Starbucks . . . enough said.

  1. I'm going to have to agree with you about the green tea. I worked at a tea place in Brea for about 6 months and i can personally attest to the powers of tea. Not just green tea either. I found after a little research, that black tea is actually very good for you as well. I had a friend who was a little on the heavy side that decided to drink a gallon of green tea every day. It was amazing and he lost so much weight! I find that It's also important to find good quality tea. I suggest mighty leave for quality and flavor. In any case, I make it a point to drink tea as much as i can.

  2. Wanna hear somethin' interesting? Studies have actually shown tea to have a higher concentration of caffeine than coffee. Unfortunately, I am not a good test subject because I am immune. I drink too much for it to have any effect on me. Funny thing is that, until now, I never paid attention to the menu at Starbucks... I know about the TAZO tea kick they are on right now.

"Come enjoy 'tea time' at Starbucks!"

But, I didn't know they had a green tea frap. Maybe they don't, but the picture up top looks like it. Curious. Might have to try that sometime, but only if I can get the high-in-fat drizzle! ;D

  3. Green tea is soooo good for you. The sugar syrup stuff they mix with the lattes and frapaccinos however are not great for you, but... at least there is good ingredients in there. It's a good place to start. Better than a caramel frap! i like to mix a little vanilla soy milk in with my green tea! Try it. It is good for you, and yummy. I'm gonna heat up my tea pot now:)
